A guy-wire is a secure cable (me) that  stabilizes a free-standing structure (you).
Lending stability during unstable times.

Everyone has untapped potential

It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living.
I want to know what you ache for,
and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.

It doesn’t interest me how old you are.
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love,
for dreams, for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn’t interest me what planets are squaring your moon.
I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow,
if you have been opened by life’s betrayals or have become shriveled
and closed from fear of further pain! I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it or fade it or fix it. I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own; if you can dance with wildness and let ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, or to remember the limitations of being a human.

It doesn’t interest me if the story you’re telling me is true.
I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself;
if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul.
I want to know if you can be faithful and therefore trustworthy.
I want to know if you can see beauty even if it’s not pretty every day,
and if you can source your life from God’s presence. I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand on the edge of a lake and shout to the silver moon, ‘Yes!’

It doesn’t interest me where you live or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair,
weary, bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done for the children.

It doesn’t interest me who you are, how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me
and not shrink back.

It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you from the inside, when all else falls
away.

I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.

one of the most heart-centered, loving, trusting,

and 'present' souls I've ever had the fortune of working with. Henry-Cameron Allen is such a gift to adults,

to teens, to children, and to the community as a whole."

SPIRITUAL HUMANISM

"I searched for God with heart-throbs of despair,

'Neath ocean's bed, above the vaulted sky;

At last, I searched mySelf... my inmost 'I',

And found Him there." - Henry Wood,

American author, philosopher & psychologist (1834-1908)

In a nutshell, for me, Spiritual Humanism means seeing and serving the Creator in Humanity, in our Divine reflection, through the lens of ethics and of reason. My temple is Nature, and my personal concept of spirituality can not be confined to one book, one building, two genders, one dogma, or any single belief system. This does not mean I judge your beliefs or feel superior. Just the opposite, in fact.

STRATEGY

Grief & Survival are not just about the loss of a loved one. It could be over any kind of loss... career, marriage, community, hair, youth, your religion, your marbles... anything. Let me be your guy-wire.

As someone who has lived and worked across the globe, I've come to appreciate the richness and diversity of all belief systems. Through my experiences, I've learned that there is a common thread that runs through each of us, connecting us to one another and to the universe. We are all precious and unique, with the capacity for immense resilience and wisdom. It is all there.

In a world driven by technology and media, there is still so much to learn and explore. As an internationally certified Grief & Survival counselor, I feel privileged to offer guidance and support to those who seek it, and to help people connect with their own inner strength and sense of purpose."

RESULTS

Together, we'll explore the unique blend of elements that make you who you are and use that knowledge to help you discover your own personal alchemy. We will work to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, the mundane into the magical. We'll develop customized tools and techniques to help you navigate the challenges of life and find your way to a fulfilling and purposeful future. Drawing inspiration from the concept of Ikigai, we'll help you discover and live out your unique life's signature.

IKIGAI

Ikigai is a life philosophy that can be interpreted as "a reason for being." It's the intersection of what you love, what you're good at, what the world needs, and what is meaningful to you.

The concept originates from the Japanese island of Okinawa, where people live particularly long and fulfilling lives. Experts have indicated that the concept can be traced back to the Heian period, which was from 794-1185 CE. During this time, the Japanese were exploring new philosophies and ideas, and the concept of Ikigai emerged as a key element in the island peoples' historic longevity, happiness, and sense of purpose.

In Okinawa, people don't retire as we do in the West. Instead, they continue to work and contribute to society as long as they can. This sense of purpose and contribution to society is a core part of their Ikigai, which is why they have such a strong sense of meaning and fulfillment in their lives.

Together, we can use the ancient concept of Ikigai to identify your unique direction in life. By exploring the Ikigai elements and where they intersect, we can develop personalized tools and techniques to help you live out your life with a greater sense of clarity and purpose.
